Dragonfly Season 2018 Has Begun

It has almost been like summer here in Denmark for several days now, with very sunny and warm weather. So, I have been visiting Rands Fjord a couple of times during the last days.
At my first visit I only spotted a few Pyrrhosoma nymphula, but when I came back three days later both Cordulia aenea, Coenagrion pulchellum, Libellula depressa and Brachytron pratense had emerged. Things are really moving fast under these perfect weather conditions.
I have added a few new photos of Pyrrhosoma nymphula, Coenagrion pulchellum and Brachytron pratense to the gallery.
